Use Creativity to Bring People Together

Support Patients and Families Through Events
hey, i'm irene, the founder of care crafts project!
First and foremost, thank you for your unwavering support in helping us bring joy to hospital patients around the world. When I first founded the Care Crafts Project during my junior year of high school, I could have never imagined what it would become today. None of this would be possible without the dedication of our incredible team and volunteers.

I created this organization to support patients who may be experiencing loneliness, anxiety, and depression in the hospital environment. As someone who has grown up with a love for crafts and has seen firsthand how difficult long-term hospitalization can be, I believed that even a small, handmade gift could make a powerful impact. I wanted to build a community centered on creativity, compassion, and connection — and that’s exactly what we’ve become. From heartfelt messages from hospital staff to moving testimonials from patients and volunteers alike, I’m constantly reminded of the meaning behind our mission. Watching our volunteers uplift each other with kindness and encouragement has been one of the most beautiful parts of this journey. I’m endlessly grateful for this community and so excited for all that lies ahead.
